What do we think?

We have reviewed the web, tried and purchased many scooters and we can honestly say, this is the best around, on the following criteria:

Lightweight: it should be easy to carry. Even this one is hardly a lightweight, but all scooters with disc brakes just add weight and decrease range (a lot of scooters out have 15+ or 20+kg weight). By next year, we will have a carbon version in our range.

Suspension: Belgian pavé just makes this a requirement (sorry RIDD/Denver/…), which does add weight, but we have a carbon RIDD at your disposal for trial. It weighs 5,9kg, but it’s just plain dangerous driving it.

Build quality: welcome to Chinese and other entrepreneurs. Yes, the Etwow is built in China as well, but each one is tested in Romania before shipping AND we offer care-free servicing: if you have an issue, we’ll just provide you a replacement. For short term trials, we offer a FULL refund if your not satisfied.

Range: the best and latest scooters are purchased to give you the best range in the market. Not bragging rights, but real km! A minimum of 30km is achieved for persons of 85kg with mixed weather, roads, …

Safety: Plenty of “pirates” around with the same chassis, wheels, but without the before mentioned battery capacity/certification/… (Did you know some Li-ion batteries are prone to overheating and catching fire, see Galaxy Note issues?) Next to this, a lot of pirates won’t offer the rear light on the fender, have inferior batteries, not securing a reliable range. Don’t believe us?
